Several years have passed since the arrival of Fimbulvetr. The cold still bites in the realm of Midgard. Kratos and Atreus do their best to stay hidden, while trying to prevent the end of the world. Every day, they train for the inevitable - but they also strive to find a way to change the course of fate. Atreus seeks to gather the clues left by his mother and understand his prophetic role in the upcoming war. Meanwhile, Kratos tries to contain his son?s desire to learn more about his identity, fully aware that it may lead them toward the vengeful Aesir - and inevitably into repeating the bloody mistakes of the past. Together, father and son venture deeper into the Nine Realms, while the forces of Asgard prepare for war. On their journey, they will uncover breathtaking mythical landscapes and face terrifying enemies - monsters and Norse gods alike.
